First edition of Sri Lanka Premier League T20 - SLPL T20

After success of Bangladesh Premier League T20, The Sri Lanka Premier League 2012 season will be the debut edition of the Sri Lanka Premier League T20 or SLPL T20.
The debut season will run from 10 August to 31 August 2012. SLPL T20 2012 will feature seven provincial teams and where each team is allowed a maximum of six overseas players in their squads. For every game, they can include up to four overseas players and at least one local under-21 player.
